a lionfish. the other day i was bored out of my pathetic little head and decided to give illustrator a try and this happened. i should learn my lesson and stay away from stripes, but.. i can't help it.. ;^;
anyway, i am quite well aware it isn't perfect, but i like it well enough seeing as it's one of my first illustrator works. obviously left some stripes and spots off on his fins, but i really wanted the darkest stripes towards the middle.. not to mention i am person who is easily distracted in general. when i get bored and start doing something i get bored and move on to something else, such as the three other drawings i started while i was doing this. i also didn't want to use glow but couldn't outline him smoothly enough for my tastes, and his colors aren't right because i wanted brown and blue. so yes.. don't pick this apart. i am not a vector artist. he needs a name.  it's wallpaper sized, feel free to use it but don't remove my name and no redistribute. -- illustrator cs. stock photo found on google. |
